The Endumeni Local Municipality, through its Local Economic Development (LED) Office, in partnership with the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) and the Durban University of Technology (DUT), hosted a one-day Digital Literacy Training for 40 young people from Endumeni.
The core of this training was to equip participants with essential digital skills needed to navigate today’s technology-driven world. The programme focused on areas such as Internet use, cloud storage, social media, and mobile productivity applications, contributing to improved productivity and efficiency in the workplace.
Participants received Certificates of Completion from NEMISA and DUT after successfully completing the course.
This initiative forms part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to empower local youth with relevant skills that enhance employability and promote digital inclusion across all sectors.
