Endumeni Local Municipality councillors, executive managers and other officials came in numbers along with members of the community to celebrate heritage month in Sithembile stadium.
Filled with joy and excitement, Sithembile residents wearing traditional attires scrupulously enjoyed the celebration. Various traditional artists included eMqgomeni and omama Besicholo surely did beyond their expectation entertained the audience.
Cllr CJ Carelse warmly welcomed the audience for coming to attend the event, while Endumeni Speaker Cllr W. N Mbatha- Makhathini also added that it significances of celebrating the heritage and the origins within the area.
The eNdumeni Mayor Cllr S.R Mbatha also stressed and highlighted that each and every individual must embrace their culture and it is of high important to celebrate “our” culture.
