African Farmers Association (AFASA) Provincial structures jointly with Endumeni Local Economic Development (LED), Endumeni Business Forum and Dundee Emerging farmers have successfully launched the AFASA Endumeni on January 7.
AFASA Provincial structure was present led by the President, ME Malunga, Provincial Secreatary, Thubelihle Zondi, Technical Team Z Ndwandwe and Mbhasobhi Ngubane.
According to Zondi, the Endumeni Municipality was by led by the Manager from (LED) Thulani Ndlovu together with his team.
Mr Ndlovu thanked the Provincial structure of AFASA for coming to approach the municipal with AFASA programs.
Mr Ndlovu further made a mark that agriculture will play a big role in uplifting the economy of the town.
The President of the KZN AFASA, Mr Malunga, thanks all new members who paid their money to become members in good standing.
All new members from Endumeni have powers to vote and will form their local structure. Mr Malunga educated new members about being a member of association.
Thubelihle Zondi, AFASA Provincial Secretary went through the processes of election of new committee.
The farmers were told that Dundee is rich in cattle production, so members should align their operations accordingly so that they can benefit to the local economy.
