Led by His Worship the Mayor, Cllr S Ndlovu; Endumeni Municipality’s political leadership as well as management have embarked on a two days induction/working session for the newly elected council.
Highlighting the purpose of this session, Mayor Ndlovu stated that this information sharing workshop will assist the new council to make informed decisions in delivering basic services to the communities of Endumeni.
Municipal Manager, Sazi Mbhele unpacked what this workshop seeks to achieve; which includes but not limited to how the municipality is structured, it’s institutional arrangement, it’s operations, the roles of the Municipal Manager and Executive Managers, the municipal challenges and how to overcome them, critical posts that needs to be filled, policies that are in place as well as policies that need to be developed and what is the financial state of the municipality.
