Mayor, Ndlovu turned the soil for food stalls near the Dundee rank. This is a project which is 100% funded by Buffalo Coal Mines, as part of their Social Corporate Investment project.
His Worship the Mayor, Cllr Ndlovu expressed words of gratitude to Buffalo Coals for this initiative which will benefit hundreds of informal traders who sell at the taxi rank. Buffalo Coals, Cavin Meterson highlighted that the project will be to the tune of R1.9 million and it will also give the local community job opportunities.
Ward 6 Councillor Shelembe congratulated the traders and further encouraged them to keep up the good work of boosting the economy of the town.
